About Megan

Megan Swift brings over 40 years of healthcare experience to her role as Co-Founder of KODA Ideaworks. Her career spans emergency response, sports medicine, and surgical care, with a deep understanding of the operational and clinical realities faced by healthcare teams in diverse environments.

Beginning as an EMT and Certified Athletic Trainer, Megan went on to serve in roles ranging from Ski Patroller to orthopedic Physician Assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of the Pacific and earned her PA-C credential through Duke University’s nationally recognized Physician Assistant program. Her decades-long tenure in orthopedic surgery has given her a unique, systems-level view of safety, workflow, and clinical demands.

Megan’s leadership at KODA Ideaworks reflects her commitment to practical innovation. She ensures that every product, process, and partnership remains grounded in the lived experience of healthcare providers. Her operational insight and on-the-ground perspective help guide the company’s approach to field testing, adoption strategies, and ongoing clinician engagement.
